After the visit:

Write a short text about the visit.

-        Was the visit what you expected? Was is better or worse, and why?

-        What part of the cathedral did you like (or not), explain why.

-        Place the pictures with the text, write down what is to be seen in the pictures.

-        Is there a story that you have heard (or find one on the internet) about the cathedral that you like in particular? Why is this story special or impressive?

The after report to Canterbury

It was roughly like I expected, but the Youth Hostel was worse than I expected, because we had 2 showers for 20 boys and the beds were a bit old. But the Cathedral was very nice and huge. I most liked the room where you came exactly after you came in, so the first part. I mean this part of the Cathedral.

We visited also this part of the Cathedral.    This part was huge. And here they were speaking to the bishop and talking about what to do.

It is not really a story but:

By 1077, Archbishop Lanfranc had rebuilt it as a Norman church, described as "nearly perfect". A staircase and parts of the North Wall - in the area of the North West transept also called the Martyrdom - remain from that building.

It is fascinating me that it has been so many times used for a bit other religion, but in fact it is almost the same always. So 1 church in the history has been used for several ‘’other’’ religions, and everybody saw it as beautiful and perfect.
